Thank you!!

What an incredible experience! TWO days of intense learning, knowledge share and fun. BIM is no longer misunderstood, it’s no longer just a concept in a textbook. It’s now internalised. And we’re excited to see the outcomes of this in the following years. Over both days we had over 650 people visit BIMHarambee. People left inspired, energised and fired up to either begin their BIM learning, expand on what they’d heard or even spread the BIM gospel to their colleagues.

Thursday 27 July

PEOPLE + PROCESS + TECHNOLOGY = THE FUTURE OF WORK

Our day focused on the full BIM workflow, using the RIBA Plan of Work as our guide.

You will understand each stage of the process, what is required, what tools and technologies are used to capture information, how that is shared with all stakeholders, and how that information is used to deliver a product.

It is your opportunity to understand the context of the why, what and how.

We used Boukunde as our project : extend the current building by 2 floors. And then we demonstrated the BIM Workflow, starting at Stage 0 - with the software and technology applicable at each stage.

It’s a practical demonstration of how we SHOULD be working.
